Instructions for installing the Full Version of YuleLog for Windows via DVD.

Installing YuleLog

The DVD in the package you purchased contains the YuleLog 2024 program and the photo files that it uses.

If you are running Windows 7, use the Windows 7 folder instead of the Windows folder on the DVD.

1. (Optional) Turn off your Virus Protection software or it will take several minutes for the DVD to mount, and then several minutes for the installation program to run.

2. Insert the YuleLog 2024 (Hallmark) DVD.

3. Double click on My Computer. Double click on the YuleLog 2024 (Hallmark) DVD. Double click on the Windows folder. If you are running Windows 7, click on the Windows 7 folder.

4. Double click on yulelog2024hallmarksetup.exe

5. The installer should automatically install in the Documents folder.

6. However, if YuleLog does not directly install in your Documents folder, follow the below steps.

7. When you get to the screen that asks where you want to install, click on the Browse button

8. Select Users

9. Double Click on your login name. Double click on Documents. Click Continue and this should install YuleLog in your Documents folder.

Click browse at this screen:

Click Users > Your Name > Documents and click OK

Starting YuleLog

1. Go to your Documents folder. Double Click on the YuleLog 2024 (Hallmark) folder. Double click on the icon titled YuleLog 2024 (Hallmark). The icon is a purple ornament:
2. You can also start the program by clicking the YuleLog 2024 (Hallmark) shortcut on the desktop if you chose to create one.

3. You will be presented with a form to fill out. This Name and Address Form should be filled out with the information you want to appear on any reports you generate. After completing this form, click on the Continue button to get to the opening screen.

4. The first time you run YuleLog, you will see a screen asking if this is a new installation or if you are updating. Click on the button labeled NEW INSTALLATION.

5. You should then be taken to the Main Menu and you can begin managing your collection! We suggest you start by adding items from the Price Guide to your collection.
